Best of the Best Boudoir Photographers in NJ: Seven Rubies Certified

Life As Fine Art is a Seven Rubies certified One of a Kind Boudoir Destination, verified in person. Here's what that means when you're deciding who to trust with your boudoir experience.

The #1 Certifying Boudoir Agency Came to See My Studio for Themselves.
Here's Why That Matters to You.

Choosing a boudoir photographer means trusting someone with something extremely sacred. You deserve to know that trust is well placed before you ever walk through the door of any studio. In addition, you want to know the quality of the experience and the images is worthy of your investment.

That's why I'm so proud to share this. Life As Fine Art has been certified a One of a Kind Boudoir Destination by Seven Rubies (Putting me at the Top 1% of all studios in the country). And above all my Rumson, New Jersey studio was visited and verified in person in 2026 by the agency’s founder and operating officer. If you've been searching for the best boudoir photographer near you in NJ, NYC, PA and CT… and wondering who you can actually trust, I want to tell you what this means, and why it should matter to you.

LIFE AS FINE ART IS NOW A CERTIFIED SEVEN-RUBIES VISITED STUDIO.

Few studios earn this certification, with a personal visit by the Seven Rubies team taking a special in person visit to validate the experience, safety, privacy and quality.

Make it stand out

LIFE AS FINE ART DESIGNATED AS ONE OF A KIND BOUDOIR DESTINATION. (top1%)
Seven Rubies rarest distinction, reserved for those studios who offer spaces and amenities who make your experience worth traveling for.

What Is Seven Rubies?

Seven Rubies is a curated directory that connects women with professional boudoir photographers across the U.S. and Canada, and you can message the nation’s best boudoir photographers directly without paying booking fees.

It was created by Stacy Gill, who has more than a decade in the boudoir industry and has worked with over 100 studios as a business strategist since 2017, on top of being a photographer herself. She knows this industry from the inside, the beautiful parts and the parts clients never see.

What I respect most is that it isn't a pay-to-play to get certified. Each photographer is reviewed personally by an industry expert, and placement depends on meeting their standards, not on how much someone pays. The careful Seven Rubies review looks at consistency, client care, business ethics, and proven experience… not just pretty pictures.

Verified in Person: Why a Studio Visit Matters

What would change for you if you could stop worrying about whether you'll be safe and calm… and just look forward to the day?

Any photographer can look polished online. A boudoir website can't tell you what’s behind closed doors. Is it clean and professional? Does it offer the privacy and safety needed? Or, how the room feels when you walk in nervous. It can't tell you whether you'll be rushed in and out of your session, or how many clients are in a queu ahead of you. Even the work displayed online might not be of real clients.

A Seven Rubies certified studio means there is a TOP quality experience, with top quality imagery, operated by a qualified individual that will handle you well.

That's what a Seven Rubies studio visit captures. Seven Rubies came to see me in person and saw my operations for themselves: the seaside cottage, the client closet, the full hair and makeup experience, and the all-woman team who take care of you from the moment you arrive. The hospitality. Nothing on a screen can stand in for that. We talked about client service extensively, and I explained some of the unique ways I do that. According to Seven Rubies, no studio in the country they’ve visited is giving clients the experience that Life as Fine Art does.

This is so important to me as a leading provider of Bridal Boudoir Photography in NJ in addition to Fine Art Nude Photography in NJ and other aspects of my work earning me the designation among the best Boudoir photographers in NJ, NYC and CT, and PA areas.

What "One of a Kind Boudoir Destination" Means to Me

To me, the word destination says everything. My boudoir clients come from all over New Jersey, from New York, and from much farther away, because the experience here is something they can't find around the corner.

It isn't a quick shoot in a rented room. Or a studio nestled in a commercial building. It's a private, discreet, enchanting whole day designed around you: the styling, the direction, the care, and the heirloom albums and wall art you'll hold onto for the rest of your life. Beyond that, it’s all the amenities of being located in a seaside resort destination. The ocean air… the estate grounds… the access to beach photo shoots, a swimming pool, gardens and local dining and nightlife. Being recognized for that here in Monmouth County, NJ means more to me than any ranking could.

How to Choose a Boudoir Photographer You Can Trust

Whether you chose Cate Scaglione of Life as Fine Art or someone else, here's what I'd want you to look for when you search "boudoir photographer near me":

  • A real, private studio. You should know exactly where you're going, who controls the environment and amenities to help you feel at home there.

  • Clear privacy practices. Ask the photographer who will see your private boudoir images at any point in the process and how they're protected. Respect for client privacy is top priority at Life As Fine Art, and is clearly one of the things Seven Rubies evaluates. This should be on your list too.

  • Guidance, not guesswork. A great photographer directs every pose so you never wonder what to do with your hands.

  • Full service. Hair, makeup, and wardrobe help take the pressure off and let you simply show up.

  • A reputation you can check. Look for independent recognition, not only what a photographer says about themselves. Some of the best resources include Seven Rubies and The Association of International Boudoir Photographers. Both organizations vet their boudoir members, and do not just accept anyone that pays for membership.

Not sure who’s right for you? A vetted directory like Seven Rubies does a lot of that homework for you.

When it comes to your boudoir photography photo shoot, it should mean a lot more than pretty pictures. Your client experience is extremely important.
Life as Fine Art has been designated the best of the best boudoir photography studios in the nation and is among the top 1% by industry-leading peer reviews.
