The mistake is not in how we photograph women—
it’s in believing they can all be approached the same way.

Let’s re-imagine HER.

MAY 14-15 LIFE AS FINE ART STUDIO, NEW JERSEY

WE ARE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHERS.

WE ARE GREAT AT WHAT WE DO.

But… what if we stopped treating boudoir as a single, overarching genre—and began approaching it as a series of distinct studies?

I don’t mean just photographing their bodies as different shapes or styles. But really… REALLY… study the woman.

In her different forms. In her different seasons of life. Each with her different mindsets.

We begin to RE-IMAGINE HER.

We serve her with more creativity, more intention. And whenever we do THAT… our boudoir practice grows.

We open ourselves up as multi-faceted artists who can expand our businesses in ways we never imagined.

We stop serving clients through our “service offerings” and become emotional thought leaders guiding them through their journey.

BETTER ART.

INTENTIONAL NICHE-BASED BUSINESS PRACTICES.

STRONGER CLIENT SATISFACTION.

GREATER VALUE, BIGGER PROFITS.

2 DAYS | 3 NICHES | JUST 10 PHOTOGRAPHERS…

For this 2-day, intimately-designed workshop Cate will invite out-of-state to her studio cottage by the sea in
Central New Jersey for a peaceful, creatively compelling right and left brain education experience.

Here, we will convene an an intimately sized, yet deeply immersive workshop that concentrates on the nuanced areas of our Boudoir Practices:

1. HER AS THE BRIDE

2. HER AS THE PLUS SIZE WOMAN

3. HER AS THE (CURVY) NUDE.

WHY? Because…

The bride is not the same client as ….

the client desiring to exist fully in her body…

who is not the same as
the client who steps into an abstract or outdoor environment as a fine art nude subject.

…Each arrives with a different psychology, a different relationship with herself, a season of life.

When we begin to recognize this, our approach shifts to the individual. We direct differently. We compose differently. We create with more intention.

This workshop is built on three pillars—bridal, plus size curvy woman, and the nude—not as treating them as categories,

but as three distinct ways of seeing them.

And with that distinction, the work becomes more refined, resonant, and far more valuable—

for both the artist and the woman in front of the lens.

Cate will approach the workshop with both a right brain (creative )

AND left brain (business and client experience) standpoint, so that we each walk away

with a holistic view of our clients:

Psychology, Creative, and Business.

Cate will share her uniquely different approach to serving each of them, treating them differently …

BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT. AND MAGNIFICENTLY SO.

And that, is how WE set ourselves as business creatives.

You’re already experienced at boudoir photography…
and aren’t here to learn how to simply how to photograph women.

You are here to learn how to see them differently… in these contexts,
with a greater understanding. And to create work and business moves that reflect that understanding.
